Besides writing I also do editing/proofreading and book reviews. You can find out more about that at my website www.edbirdbooks.com
In the mean time here is my latest review about a 'must read' novel
GUILT TRIP
***** FIVE STARS
Review by E.D. Bird
TITLE: GUILT TRIP
AUTHOR: DONNA HUSTON MURRAY
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH
SIZE: 277 PAGES
WRITTEN IN – ENGLISH (UNITED STATES)
When asked to do review by the author I was provided with a PDF copy of the manuscript.
I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Guilt Trip’ and must admit that I had difficulty putting it down once I’d started reading it.
Lauren, an ex-police officer, takes on a herculean task in the form of a sleuth after learning about the demise of a family member. It is believed that the deceased, brother to Lauren’s sister-in-law, committed suicide, but members of his family don’t believe that is possible. The twists and turns of the tale leave the reader wondering how Lauren could possibly unravel the mystery and there is never a hint as to who the perpetrator actually is…
It is a fantastic plot that is well written and riddled with humour.
I would definitely recommend this novel to all who enjoy a good murder mystery. ‘Guilt Trip’ will grip you from the beginning and leave you wishing that there’s a sequel when you reach the end.
